Addison's Benefit

Yesterday was my 2nd cousin's benefit.

Addison was diagnosed with what is called, Failure to Thrive.  She is about 11 months old, and she now weighs approx. 11lbs.   She has a feeding tube that goes to her intestines to try to help her grow.

The benefit started at 3 and went till 8.  There was also a silent auction. that ran about the same time.  After the silent auction, there was a beer bust going to happen (we did not stay for this).

My mum and I had gotten there around 3ish and talked to my gramps for a little while, looked at what they had there, and talked to my cousin holding the benefit. We hung out at a table my Gramps had claimed.  Son my cousin, Crissy, her room mate, my Aunt and Uncle and my other Aunt came in and joined us at the table. That was a lot of fun.

Spaghetti dinner. mmmmmmmmm :) Salad with some type of vinaigrette thing,  Angel hair noodles,  they had like warm Ragu sauce, garlic bread, Parmesan cheese, and some other bun if you didn't want garlic bread. Oh man, my mouth is watering! It was so delicious!!! We ate at like, 4:45 lol!

So the silent auction.   There was SO much stuff there! Unbelievable!  There were tons of blankets. On sold over $100! It was adorable Colorful squares on the outside, and Disney Character squares all around the inside.  There was a sweatshirt to the  Prior Lake Lakers, Tons of country cds and shirts to K102 (country), and hats, bake sale, tickets to the new Twins game, gift cards, movie tickets,  autographed things... wow! soo much mahahah!  I saw a signed piccie of the Wizard of Oz, Donald Trump, Toy Story 2, Adrien Peterson, some Race car drivers, and Betty white!  I WON THE PICCIE  SIGNED BY BETTY WHITE! (the actual photo is not de-colored... my phone just decided to make it magenta :P).

Around 3:30-4:00, maybe?,  about 15 or so biker dudes came in! made my day! I sadly did not get a photo of them with Addison, but I am sure I could ask my Gramps for the photos :)

That was a very fun night at the benefit. I aside from winning the autographed Betty White piccie,  I won two other things. I am not going to state one, but if you would like to know, just ask me, and I bid on a Neil McCoy autographed piccie. I didn't really want it too much, but hey, I still was supporting my cousin with $5 more! :)

After we got all of our goodies together, and twenty-million hugs, my cousin, Breezy, my mum and I headed to Breezy and my aunts apartment.  We were headed to a fun night of game night!  We were just waiting around for maybe a half hour, the three of us were getting tired.  Then Jamie, Joe, and Auntie Mary came in. The party has started :P  Half hour later, Kaydee got in.  We sat for a while, ppl talkin, Breezy was txting, and  I was txtin my twinnies a little bit after they finished their movie, while I was struggling to get one side done on the rubix cube.  Joe stole it away from me...  Then it was Game time!

We started playin Yahtzee :)  I was the first one to get a Yahtzee!!! It was all twos hahahahahaha.... I was haing fun cloring my sheet. I did that a lot when I was younger too... Always used a red utensil to color.  Click on the photo if you cannot see it that well... and look at my score! I won! Kaydee was in second with 5 under my score :P
After one game of Yahtzee, we started to play uhh... Scattergories.  I have never played that game before and I was quite confused for a while.   Oh man, what a game that was. I was not the best of player :P  But it was fun. Many many laughs! We played about 6 rounds. Then we sat down for a while and talked and played a little Outburst.  We are sooo horrible at that game :D

Kaydee left, and party started to die down a bit... it was around 1:15am.  I went to Beezy's room to lay down. She has a queen size bed. Very roomy.  She talked on the phone for a bit with her boyfriend, and then some other dude. I finally got to bed at 2.  I kept waking up throughout the night though. Breezy never takes her phone off vibrate, and she has one of those one minute reminders for if you don't check your messages, so I woke up at 5ish to her phone vibrating every single minute. I exited the txt, and fell back asleep. Woke up at 9 to the same thing. I thought about turning her phone on silent, but then i exited her txt and fell asleep for a little while longer.

Got out of the room at like 11 something.  Sat and finished a side of the rubix cube. I felt quite accomplished. Mum and Jamie went to Caribou to get coffee for pppl. She got me a hot chocolate :) They also stopped at Bruegger's Bagels and I had me a plain bagel with cream cheese :P YUMM!

Time to pack up. We left. I got home around 2. I was seriously dying. I needed a nap.... I napped off and on through the day :P

We went to Dehn's Country Manor for dinner. Perdy good. I am full and very sleepy! Contemplating if i should pack my stuff in the morning or do it now? hmmm....

I now have a nickname for Kristine and Dayna, but my task is to figure out what Katharine's should be! I am finding this to be quite hard! (Ahem, my Dear Katharine, this is a reminder that you need to help think :D)

I may be going to the Como Zoo with Sarah on Thursday! I hope it works out :D I LOVE ZOOS!!!

I am so ready for bed :P It is about 9. wow. I am watching Life on Discovery. I love watching these types of shows....

I hope  AY has a fab time in SC :)
